What is the deal with the ellipsis?
All of our work features a small ellipsis carved in a few subtle places. It represents a project that will never be completely finished, a work in progress, continuation, and evolution into the unknown.
What is the lead time?
This can vary from time to time and currently is at about 5-8weeks from receipt of down payment. Rush service is offered if full payment is presented up front and scheduling allows. Contact us, we will work with your needs.
How do i get fit for my new custom frame?
a. If you are in Colorado Springs- Eric can fit you at the shop for no extra charge.
b. If you are from elsewhere- We will email you a template to fill out for specific geometry's and you can be fit by someone you trust or you can send us dimensions for your new frame if known. Chances are that if you are ordering a custom frame you probably have a pretty good idea of what you need, and if you do not, we can fill in the blanks to make your best bike. Again, just contact us and we will work together.
Can i visit the shop and see my bike being born?
Yes! Eric loves company. Please just call in advance and please show respect while he is working. You can also request digital pictures of your frame be taken during the build process and e-mailed to you.

No, we only make a small handful of bikes per year and like to keep it that way. We are very supportive of cycling and have made many donations of time and service to the sport, but do not offer discounts on product so we can continue to make donations as we see fit.
Do you accept international orders?
Yes, ground ups can be found in many countries throughout the world. contact through email and payment through paypal is preferred. The customer is responsible for any customs or duties, freight, and payment fees. A little more patience is required of the customer, but that doesn't seem to stop them from placing their order and becoming satisfied with their new ground up. We admire this.
